Enhanced Lounge Experience
Virgin Atlantic has launched a redesigned Clubhouse at London Heathrow, now incorporating a cinema zone, VIP section, and a wellness spa with exclusive treatments. This marks the first phase of a comprehensive transformation, aimed at elevating the overall passenger experience through plush amenities and personalized services.
Theatrical VIP Experience
Among the latest additions is the Royal Box area, a private retreat inspired by the airline’s Los Angeles Clubhouse. This invite-only space offers a cinematic ambiance with suede-clad seating in the brand’s signature red, complemented by a ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ showcasing gourmet pastries and champagne.
Work Pod Studios
Two dedicated work pod studios have been installed, designed for productivity. Each includes integrated power outlets, modern desk setups, and illuminated ‘on air’ signs to indicate availability. The pods also feature artistic touches like framed vinyl records, echoing Virgin Records’ legacy.
Gallery Redesign
The Gallery, a popular area within the Clubhouse, has been reimagined for optimal space and improved panoramic views of the runway. The layout now caters to diverse needs, offering tailored seating for business travelers, groups, and couples. Decor elements draw from London’s transport heritage and Vivienne Westwood’s iconic style, with brass accents, warm lighting, and curated artworks lining the walls.
Wellness Pop-Ups
For those seeking relaxation, the Clubhouse now hosts limited-time wellness pop-ups. Guests can access complimentary sessions in three Somadomes—immersive wellness pods—until 31 May. These spaces combine light therapy, sound healing, and meditation to deliver a calming reset. Secret Spa is also offering treatments such as express massages and glow-boosting facials through April 30.
Special Offerings for Seoul Route
As part of the new route to Seoul, the lounge will feature OSKIA skincare, OPI nail products, and K-beauty brands. Customers can schedule these services directly through the Secret Spa team at the Clubhouse.
