After a decade-long partnership, renowned athletes Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe have confirmed their decision to part ways. The duo revealed their split during a joint appearance on their podcast, “A Touch More,” which they will gradually discontinue. Bird shared a poignant moment on social media, posting a photo of herself with Rapinoe, who was kneeling and presenting a ring, symbolizing the end of their romantic journey.

A Decade of Shared Journeys

Throughout their relationship, Bird and Rapinoe have maintained a deep connection, both personally and professionally. Bird, a legendary figure in women’s basketball, has secured four WNBA titles and earned 13 All-Star selections during her 20-year career. Rapinoe, celebrated for her role in the Women’s World Cup victories in 2011, 2015, and 2019, emphasized the emotional weight of their decision.
