Original looksmaxxer drowns in Thailand after – An American fitness personality met a dramatic fate after succumbing to the waters of a lake in Thailand, following what witnesses described as an intense episode of erratic behavior. Connor Michael Murphy, aged 31, experienced a severe breakdown at a high-end residential community before ultimately drowning in Lake Wood Village, located in the vicinity of Bangkok.
According to local reports, the incident unfolded during the early morning hours of July 7. Neighbors alerted authorities after hearing loud screaming and observing Murphy destroying his rented property. The YouTuber was then seen sprinting outside, where he continued his frenzied display by rolling across the pavement with his hands pressed together, seemingly engaged in fervent prayer while muttering words under his breath.
Police Response and Discovery
When law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, Murphy—who had branded himself as a ‘Giga Chad’—immediately made his escape toward an adjacent golf course. There, officers discovered the influencer swimming completely naked in a lake that measured eight feet in depth. The police maintained a cautious distance for several hours, concerned that Murphy might attempt to pull them into the water as well.
Despite their vigilance, the self-proclaimed ‘alpha male’ eventually began to struggle against the current. Witnesses observed him fighting to remain above water before he disappeared beneath the surface. A search-and-rescue team was dispatched at 2 pm local time, and within thirty minutes, divers recovered Connor’s lifeless body from the center of the lake.
Investigation and Evidence
Authorities launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. During the recovery operation, police retrieved two unused syringes along with a white pill from Murphy’s bag and vehicle. Police Captain Weeraphong Rupsuay, representing the Bang Phli district station, provided details about the ongoing inquiry.
The body is currently undergoing an autopsy, and all evidence, including the white pills found inside the car, has been sent to a laboratory for examination.

Regarding the influencer’s unusual religious conduct, the captain suggested it could have stemmed from personal convictions, noting that Murphy had suddenly become agitated without any prior warning or history of such behavior.

A thorough inspection of Murphy’s residence revealed significant chaos. The interior was covered in black paint splatters and smears across the walls. Kitchen areas contained heaps of garbage, while sofas, dishes, decorations, and various household appliances bore stains of brown and yellow paint.

Murphy’s 22-year-old Thai girlfriend shared additional insights into his final moments. She revealed that prior to his outburst, Murphy had asked her to accompany him shopping, but she had declined. Shortly after returning home alone, he reportedly broke down. She mentioned that he had experienced a similar rampage approximately two years earlier, though she was uncertain whether this was part of a longer pattern or if drug use had been involved.

He managed multiple YouTube channels, including Connosis, Connor Murphy Talks, and Connor Murphy Official, which collectively amassed over 2.4 million subscribers.
His content portfolio was diverse, featuring instructional videos on achieving a chiseled ‘giga Chad’ square jaw, alongside fitness guidance, vlogs, pranks, and footage of himself interacting with women. Additionally, Murphy operated an OnlyFans account where he distributed videos of himself with female companions. While he initially gained traction through workout routines and motivational messaging, observers noted a transition toward more ‘psychedelic’ themes in 2020, emphasizing meditation and spiritual practices.
His final YouTube upload, dated July 1, carried the title ‘RIP Elon Muscular.’ In this video, Murphy was seen dribbling a ball within his residence while narrating that he was ‘absorbing the spirit of Elon’ and expressing gratitude for ‘his sacrifice.’
