The streets pulse with life throughout the day and night, filled with locals enjoying conversations at neighborhood bars and cafes.
Even during their brief Monday-to-Wednesday visit outside of school holidays, the city maintained a weekend atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. The energy reminded him of English football match days, but with refinement rather than rowdiness. Bologna never loses its elegance, regardless of which street you wander down.
With a flight already booked for another visit later in the same month, Miller has made his choice clear. Bologna sits just forty minutes from Florence by train, yet it has captured his heart in ways that no other Italian city has managed to do.
